We source our Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from two different sites, one in Stellenbosch and one in Paarl. The Stellenbosch vineyard is found between 180m to 260m above sea level on a North-West-facing slope and deep Tukulu soils. This vineyard ripens slowly and gradually to form dark and concentrated fruit flavours. Dry-land Cabernet from trellised Agter-Paarl vineyards adds juicy dark fruit flavours, and ripe tannins and balances the strong Stellenbosch structure.
